Rights Respecting School Bronze Award

We are very pleased and proud to announce that we have recently been awarded a Rights Respecting School Bronze Award!

This is part of our school improvement plan and a key area that we wish to develop in our school over the coming years.

The initiative is part of UNICEF and is described on its website below:

“There are three stages to the Rights Respecting Schools Award. Its transformative and rigorous approach means the journey to the highest stage can take up to four years.

Together young people and the school community learn about children’s rights, putting them into practice every day.  The Award is not just about what children do but also, importantly, what adults do. In Rights Respecting Schools children’s rights are promoted and realised, adults and children work towards this goal together.”

We look forward to working together as a whole school in partnership with parents and our other associated agencies to achieve our silver and gold awards!
