Wear blue for Respect Week!

The pupils are being asked to ‘wear blue’ on Friday 21st November as a finale for Respect Week – it can be as little or as much blue as they wish. We hope they have learned some important lessons this week about respecting other people. ‘You don’t have to play with me, agree with me or even like me but you do have to respect me’.

Christmas Show – Tickets on Sale!

Tickets are now on sale for the 2014 Ladywell Christmas Show ‘A Pudding for the Chimney Sweep’. The performances are on Wednesday 11th December at 1.15pm and 7.00pm and Thursday 12th December at 1.15pm & 7.00pm. All children are on stage at each performance.

As tickets are always on demand they will be allocated to TWO per family in the first instance.

Tickets are priced £2.50 and are available from Monday 24th November.

Any tickets remaining will be sold on a first come, first served basis from Monday 8th December.

Please complete the form your child took home from school to order your tickets.

Welcome to a busy term 2!

This week we welcomed everyone back to what will be a very busy term. We have the Halloween celebrations coming up, 4 class assemblies and the Christmas show to get ready for! We are all looking forward to what sounds like a great term!

From Monday (27th) we are starting a new system for ordering school meals. If your child is a school dinner please use the menu which was sent home to discuss with your child what they would like for lunch. The children are going to make their choice first thing in the morning and be issued with a coloured band to wear in the dinner hall. They will then swap their coloured band for the appropriate meal (i.e mince & potatoes-blue, baked potato-white, sandwich-green, etc).

As always, if you have any questions, please contact the school office or your child’s teacher via their homework diary.

October Week!

Please remember school closes at 3pm tomorrow (Friday 10th) for the October Week! We will reopen at 8.55am on Monday 20th October and look forward to seeing you then.
